Guido Guidi

Guido Guidi (*1941) studied first at IUAV University of Venice and then at the School of Advanced Studies in Industrial Design in Venice. He counts as one of the most important photographers in Italy and has been exhibited in all major international museums like Guggenheim New York or Centre Pompidou Paris. Between 1984 and 1989 he created his series "In Veneto" using a Deardorff 8X10. This was the first time he had used a large format camera for a whole project, which concentrated on an area in the central Veneto.

The IKS PHOTO Collection contains five C-Prints by Guido Guidi from his series "Cinque paesaggi, 1983-1993" and "In Veneto 1984-89".
